Secure and pervasive communication framework using Named Data Networking for connected healthcare

Connected healthcare system is one of the most critical Internet Things (IoT) applications offering numerous services. But it requires next-generation technologies to collude with IoT standards provide prompt end-user Thus, a data-centric network architecture like, Named Data Network (NDN) can be effective tackle concerns related communication in connected healthcare. In this article, we propose Secure and Pervasive Health Care Framework (SecPHCF) that attempts process data securely transmit using NDN thereby aiding faster support. The dissemination model SecPHCF contains two operating modes, (a) consumer-based where initiates (b) producer-based alert messages indicating conditions trigger transmission. validated through extensive simulations on different scenarios by considering evaluation parameters such as throughput, delay, packet delivery ratio, computation overheads.
